Adoption Update: Very, very close

Last night we asked for people to pray specifically that we would hear from the Embassy in Nairobi in the morning.  Well, we did!  God heard us and answered.

The evidence that we have submitted was received and it answered the questions that they had.  Now, they are requesting just one more little thing that we have to get to them.  So....that's GREAT NEWS!

It means that we were able to provide all the evidence that they needed regarding the questionable areas of the case.  That means that we are 99% approved to bring him home permanently.  Amazing.  This is the most concrete that our adoption has felt in the 2.5 years that we've been in it.

So, they need one more thing from our home study.  It shouldn't be too big of a deal.  (Please pray that it isn't.  Please pray that Satan doesn't use it to stop this miracle from happening.  Pray that God's hand will be with us.)  The problem is that we have to mail it and that takes a week.  That makes bringing Silas home by Easter much harder.  But I am still praying with confidence that God will bring him home to us so we can celebrate Easter in Cowden with Silas.

Great news and please keep praying for Silas to be here by Easter.
